Topic: Role of Electron Microscope in Development of Microbiology (SEM & TEM): 

[Description: Students should focus on “How use of electron microscope has impact on the development of microbiology”].

• Participants have to bring ready to hang poster on the day of event. 

• Size of the poster must be 3 ft x 4 ft (Portrait/Landscape). 

• Hand made posters shall be prepared by participants using colours / craft materials / colour papers etc.

• Flex printing is not allowed. 

• Poster can be prepared in team. Each team can have maximum 5 participants. 

• Maximum 3 entries of poster from each division of college. 

• Participant should take care not to disclose their identity / college identity during event. (Do not mention name of participant as well as college name/logo on poster.)

• Any one participant in the team shall present poster to respective judges. 

S. Y. B. Sc.: Micro Model Competition [Team]

Topic: Structure of Virus (Any One): 

• Participants have to bring hand made static model of any one viral structure using colours/ craft material / card paper or board. The same shall be put for assessment during event. 

• Fabricated model of any material will not be considered for assessment.

• Do not mention name of participant as well as college name/logo on model. 

• Any one participant in the team will be allowed to present a brief overview of model to the judges.

• Maximum5 participants in team.

• Maximum 3 entries of model from each division of college. 

• Time for model presentation: 3 min.

T. Y. B. Sc.: Act of Microbes Competition [Team]

Topic: Microbial Interaction: 

[Description: A brief mime act by a team of students to deliver concept of microbial interaction in real world]

• Maximum 8 participants in team. 

• Maximum 2 entries for art of microbes from each division of college. 

• Each team will be allowed to present a brief overview to the judges in the form of a write up before they start performance. 

• No disclosure of identity of college or name. 

• Maximum performance time allowed: 3 minutes.

T. Y. B. Sc.: Micro-Quiz Competition [Team]

• Two participants per team. 

• No restriction in entry for Quiz competition. Any number of participants can participate in a group of two.

• Questions shall be asked from reference books mentioned in Syllabus of Microbiology from Semester I to V. 

• Host institute will not participate in quiz competition. 

• Quiz competition will have 3 rounds: 

Round-1: 

-Elimination round of  M. C. Qs. 

-Any one participant of the team will appear for M. C. Qs. 

Round-2: 

-Top 6 teams at the end of Round-1 will participate in Round-2. 

-It consists of sub-rounds like visual, questions & rapid fire. 

Round-3: 

-Top 3 teams at the end of Round-2 will participate in Round-3. 

-It consists of sub-rounds like visual, questions & rapid fire.
