Hod's Message

The Course of Chemistry is designed to have a complete development of youth as young scientist  and explore the potential in the field of Organic chemistry, Inorganic chemistry, Physical chemistry, Analytical chemistry, Industrial chemistry, Pharmaceutical chemistry, Medicinal chemistry, Polymer science etc. The course had been design for 3 years having total of 06 semesters.

The course is designed as per the new notification from UGC under the CBCS scheme. The growth in the field of basic and applied chemistry and their potential is tremendous and had good future job prospectus. The course provide good career option as chemist in production unit quality control, R&D cell, lab technician and so on. It also provide viability to develop entrepreneurship.

The students Eligibility for getting admission to the B.Sc. Chemistry Program is 10 + 2 with Science stream (A, B or AB group). The admission will be as per Veer Narmad South Gujarat University rule. Academic session starts in the month of June for every year.
